Scientific Imaging

QSI cameras excel at a variety of scientific imaging applications from chemiluminescence and spectroscopy to material analysis, interferometry and laser-illuminated condensate studies.  Sensitivity from 240nm to 1100nm, precise air or liquid cooling to >45°C below ambient temperature, low noise, extremely wide dynamic range, fast USB 2.0 downloads, and low backfocus make it possible to use QSI 600 and RS Series cameras with a wide variety of optics for a wide range of applications.

QSI RS Series cameras offer 16-bit output and high speed reads with ROI frame rates up to 20 fps.  Electronic input and output triggers with latency as low as 5µsec allow precise exposure timing and triggering of external events such as strobes. RS 4.2 and RS 2.0 models support Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV) exposure mode for flow visualization with two exposures as close together as 100µsec.
