After an eventful year at QSI, we will be taking our festive break from the 23rd of December, and reopen at 9.00 (GMT) on the 4th January to recharge for the exciting new year of 2022.
If you have an issue during this time, please continue to get in touch through our contact form or your usual point of contact. As always, we will keep a watchful eye on our support channels through this holiday period and will get to your enquiry as soon as possible. Thank you in advance for your patience.
Last years highlights
In January we announced the winner of the astrophotography competition was Bruce Waddington for his incredible image of the Cats Eye Nebula and our runners up, Vlad Onoprienko and Rolf Olsen for their enlightening images of ARP 273 and NGC1365.
Our 2019 competition winner Andy Campbell, continue to share his images through his Instagram page @andys_astro. Pictured below is his amazing photograph of the Large Megellanic Cloud with NGC 1925 and friends, captured with the QSI-6162 he selected as the prize.
Events are back!
We were thrilled to get back to attending trade shows and other live events this year, at the start of October attending LAS star party in Kelling Heath, UK, on the 9th.
There’s no time to rest in the new year, as our first conference will be the 239th AAS meeting in Salt Lake City from 9th – 13th January, quickly followed by Photonics West from 22nd to 27th January in San Francisco. We’re very much looking forward to meeting you then.
We have plans to develop the QSI brand in the new year so look out for news on newsletters and the website.
And finally… have a Merry Christmas from the QSI Team!
As always, we have appreciated your continued support and enthusiasm for the products throughout 2021. Wishing you warm wishes over Christmas and a happy, healthy New Year!
